Here's an aerial video that a friend of mine in Walden, VT made yesterday. You can definitely see the early color starting to emerge.

So that was August 30th???  John we need eyes in the air now!!! Ok, in the morning since its 9PM... Come on!!! I'll get this up on Facebook... 2:22 was a couple real early trees...

Yes, that was August 30th at my friends house near Coles Pond. They tend to be early because of the elevation. Coles Pond is right around 2200' of elevation.

I did fly my drone here in Island Pond this afternoon to test it after a firmware update. I did turn the camera on while it was in the air. I'll try to look at the footage during the Patriots game and put together a short video. I may not get it finished until morning.
