Above normal temperatures in New England
« on: December 09, 2015, 05:03:15 PM »
It has been very warm here in the New England over the past couple of months. Today's high temp here in the NEK of Vermont was 41° today, 12/9/15. Average high is 31° according to accu-weather. On a good note, we are saving a lot on our heating bills so far this season.

Another warm day here in northern New England, 52° for the high here in Island Pond, VT. It's starting to look like we may have a brown Christmas :(

It was a little cooler today in the NEK of VT with snow flurries most of the day. Didn't amount to anything here in Island Pond, but I got an email from a friend that lives near Cole's Pond in Walden, VT and he had about a half an inch of snow.

We ended up picking up a couple of inches of snow overnight. For the time being it feels like winter here in northern VT with a current temperature at 12:00PM of 21°F. To bad the snow is going to melt before Christmas :(

as of 5 may were still at the 40s so I don't know about overly warm for this year so far. In Salem we had an incredibly warm Christmas Eve but by Valentines Day we were breaking new records for cold -9° and that your global warming for you! Were giving mother nature hot flashes and she's pants back in a big way.
